I have released a new booklet entitled “The Gun Rights Debate; How to Win It”, giving tips on how to debate the topic of gun rights (and subjugate to this the militia, concepts like castle doctrine, etc) with those who seek to denigrate the capabilities of the lawful civilian body. I wrote this upon realizing that a great many proponents of the proper understanding of the second amendment of the US constitution nonetheless make mistakes when they discuss the point with others.
The work is AVAILABLE HERE!
A few brief pointers from my new text:
-That mentioning weapons like the Puckle Gun, Girardoni Rifle, and others, are weak arguments unless used to show that the founders of the United States were aware of weapon technology advancing and had no issue with it.
-That both proponents of and opponents of the lawful militia are constantly misusing statistical data.
-That the faux-originalism of opponents of the militia is laughable (and why.)
-That we can objectively prove that the militia is a civilian force and that regulation as referenced in the second amendment has nothing to do with government.
I crafted a total of twenty four different sections in this little work. It was deliberately kept short and sweet to make it more digestible, and to allow easier reference because the point of the work is to aid in debate skills regarding the issue.
