The White House Response to the New Border Crisis is Strategically Insane

Angering the left and the right at the same time?

Currently, over ten thousand Haitian illegals are residing at the US border in Del Rio, Texas. This unfortunate result of Joe Bidens' insane border policies is, in and of itself, a disaster (much like everything else he has done since his asterisk administration began) but the response of the administration to the problem is arguably worse, at least strategically.

Right now, the US border patrol is processing and deporting a majority of the Haitian illegals assembled there in Texas. It is also resettling certain illegals (under legal auspices of only the most dubious nature) in a bipolar response guaranteed to anger both left wingers and independent voters. The former group would like to see the Haitian illegals all resettled immediately with many a bent knee and plaudit- the latter tilts heavily off in favor of actual border control, largely disapproving of Bidens handling of what has become a crisis of levels practically unseen outside of war torn regions.

So why anger both independents (by resettling those who do not qualify for resettlement under the US "Stay in Mexico" policy) while angering his own parties' left wing by deporting anyone at all? Not only does it not make strategic sense, the very concept lacks any legal sense as well.

This may explain why absentee Vice President Kamala Harris came out of the woodwork just the other day to back-handedly criticize the response. I hate to say it yet again but I predicted that this would happen- although it wasn't entirely clear which of the many crises we face would be the catalyst.
