I'm surprised it took so long for Tarl to 'do a writing', as I understand most of his day job is editing and creating written works?

Unfortunately, you were mesmerized by the promises your own mind created by the empty "Hope & Change" mantra the same as too many others. Unlike Biden, Obama was a very smooth talker and was able to take advantage of the coverage provided by the media. You may not have thought that he was particularly malevolent, but the damage was still done to the individual people victimized by the full force of the US Government and to the country in general.
And just like that, Styx did more Journalism in one article than CNN has done since...well...forever.
