I'm dreading the moment YT goes down.. I know they're F#ckers and all, but the wealth of information they store on DIY, Health and all kinds of other topics that I consult on a daily basis is HUGE. I've been trying to download all the vids I'd like to keep offline, and then you realize how convenient YT has been all these years. Go to Bitchute and search for how to make a blacksmith power hammer for example and see what comes up: very little if anything is available; YT still holds the lion share of all the best vids. I just keep buying terabytes of 3.5" storage disks to store everything I want to keep and it's never enough for long. Yes, I'm paranoid..
This has already happened to some categories of material on YouTube. For example, YT used to have thousands of "how to disassemble your <model x> firearm." When those were categorically banned, there wasn't much in the way of competition with YT, so some gun videos actually got moved to PornHub! But since then several gun-friendly hosting sites, particularly UGETube, have sprung up to fill the need, and nearly all the gun content that was once on YT can be found there.
I expect that all YT creators who produce controversial content will be similarly diligent about keeping copies of their material so they can reload it elsewhere should the need arise.
If any content is lost in YouTube's coming bankruptcy it will more likely be entertainment videos where the creator is always making new episodes, such as the poker pros who post there. I will miss their material but I'm sure there will be more (and I hope Rumble/Locals or BitChute can attract some producers of that sort too).
YouTube still believes that they can eliminate Alt-Tech via political maneuvering and technical attacks. This is why they are going down the road that will make them extinct if Alt-Tech survives.
to be best of my knowledge, his first video on coronachan specifically was mid-January of 2020; I remember it being published on a saturday and that's when I started taking note of it
that said, Styx has always said the world was due for something of this nature (clearly not something man-made and either negligently or intentionally released)
YouTube "a Google company" as they were once referred to will become as relevant as Google Finance is today. At one time Google Finance was the gold standard of free finance tools. They self destructed and never explained why. Yahoo seems to have taken over that space now. It made no sense to me, other than a random sarcastic thought i had, that maybe it associated them with capitalism and they had to shed any connection to that possibility?
Thanks for your voice and your diligence Tarl. Your videos greet me every morning and have for the last 6 or so years. I’ve been also watching your exclusive content on Rumble (despite their platform sucking ass) because your content is worth it! If I may, I’d love to suggest an upcoming video for your consideration. I’d love for you to reignite the irresponsible campaign promise that old mummy Brandon boasted about…if you elect me, we’ll CURE CANCER. Fuck that fucking asshole. He IS CANCER. If he wants to cure cancer then resign or better yet, die.
Youtube is the best place for cooking shows. I think that perhaps 50 or more of the independent creators that I follow have moved to Rumble. As far as FB, it's the only way I can stay in touch with my family as I'm a expat. Twitter, well I just go there to post and wait to be banned.
And metallurgy of any kind, electronics, programming, car body work/repair, 3D printing, RC aircraft, the list goes on and on and on and on.. ( By the way, do you know the culinary channel "Cuoredeciciolato"? Check it out if you don't).
Basically anything to do with coof and the jab or gunsmithing or pyrotechnical stuff, you need to go elsewhere but all the rest, yt still rules. That makes me very nervous to have that wealth of information all in one place; it's my university basically..
Large institutions corporations want allegiance do not question authority. In other words if I want your opinion I will beat it out of you. Just my opinion. Life as a pack mule with blinders.
A few notes and corrections if I may: Is it "anyways" or "anyway"? I use the latter but not sure. I think you mean "middle of 2020" and not 2019? 2019 was a pretty good year... Is it "YouTube's" and not "Youtubes'"? The british make otherwise singular looking nouns plural sometimes, maybe that was the angle on that one.
Also for point #3: I believe it was Tim Pool who did videos of the director of the CDC AND a prominent Canadian doctor (being reported on by the CBC propaganda machine no less) both admitting that "vaccines" for covid-19 can't prevent spread. So why call it a vaccine, and why keep pushing it then? Logic is not a thing these days.
Youtube is a joke, 2022 will probably be the last year youtube remains revelent. I can already see new tech rising greatly and will hopefully replace youtube as the dominant video hosting platform

They won't go down. They'll still have a their stuff up. They may just recede in significance, is all.
I certainly hope so - I'm just hoping they don't pull the plug altogether if they take too many losses.
Slowly but surely the non political content will migrate to new tech as well. Odysee in particular has a lot of it already

The easiest way to find the bad guy, is to spot the censor.
I don't use YouTube for news or politics. Today I only use Alt-tech for news or politics. So I don't care about YouTube, Facebook or Twitter...

Thank you for bringing the truth to the people !
Shared your post on twitter as usual, not that I have many followers , but let’s hope the right ones.
the only edit to this I would make is that it was in the middle of 2020 where you called it being endemic
this YT decision is a badge of honor, but I know you already knew that; clank on
Correct, but he predicted it in '19, which I believe is what he said, but I may be wrong.

Mmmmf. I didn't mean '19. I did mean spring '20. I've been mixing my years up. Stunning...I know....
its almost over. their fuel tank is empty and soon their bank accounts will be too.

Get on Gettr, Tarl. Your info is too valuable to be silenced.
Gettr censors too. They deleted Nick Fuentes. I have him blocked on gab, but I still prefer the more free-speech site.

I found a really nice home over at SubStack - check out my newsletter with lots of vaccine commentary.

I think you mean Ron Paul, he of the eponymous Liberty Report. Rand is his son, the senator who induced Fauci into committing perjury.
